Alice, Juliette, and Holly

Almost a year ago Alice was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It came as a big shock to everyone as Alice has always been so fit and healthy. From day 1 it was clear that she wouldn't let the numerous daily injections and testing get in her way. Five days after leaving the hospital she did her Gold swimming award and the next day she trialled and made the school swim team. Alice read about the idea of marking the 'diaversary' (not my word!) and raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She has decided to do a sponsored swim and has two fantastic, supportive friends who want to do it with her. This branch of the charity is based in The Netherlands as Alice has had her treatment here but Diabetes research anywhere will potentially help those affected worldwide. Please sponsor them!
